Giorgio Boffa is a versatile instrumentalist, he studied organ at the School of Sacred Music in Alba (Italy), and later attended master classes in electric bass and double bass. He graduated in double bass from the Conservatorio of Cuneo (Italy) with a thesis on “Belcanto Rossiniano”. Over the years, he has studied in-depth Jazz and, along with his classical studies, he has researched new styles and unexplored territories of contemporary musical expressions.
He has worked with different music groups, also collaborating with such artists as Arturo Brachetti, Gerardo Balestrieri, Mike Stern, Dr Livingstone, Rino Vernizzi, Ezio Bosso, Paolo Zirilli, Fabio Giachino, Antica Officina dei Miracoli, Michele Ascolese, Tony Bungaro, and Alberto Fortis.
Among the collaborations he loves more, there are cinema, good food and wine! 🙂
